The main purpose of Batas Pambansa Blg. 794 is to constitute the sitios of Inarawan, Inuman, Buyag, Maagay, Binitinan, and Gulugod Baboy, which are all part of Barangay San Isidro in the Municipality of Antipolo, Province of Rizal, into a new barangay named Barangay Inarawan.
The sitios of Inarawan, Inuman, Buyag, Maagay, Binitinan, and Gulugod Baboy are separated from Barangay San Isidro to form Barangay Inarawan.
Barangay Inarawan is bounded by NaArmy Road, Barangay San Juan, Ea Antipolo-San Mateo Road, SaMarcos Highway, and WaInalsan-Boso-Boso Road.
After the approval of the Act, a plebiscite must be conducted within 120 days for the majority of votes in the affected area to ratify the formation of Barangay Inarawan. Upon ratification, the President shall appoint the first officials of the new barangay.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) shall conduct and supervise the plebiscite.
The expenses for the plebiscite shall be charged to the appropriations of the Commission on Elections provided in the current annual General Appropriations Act for plebiscites.
The first appointed officials hold office until their successors are elected and qualified in the next regular barangay election.
This law takes effect upon its approval.
