The Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) is authorized to reclaim portions of Laguna Lake.
The DENR is tasked to perform all acts necessary to reclassify portions of land to be reclaimed as alienable and disposable lands of the public domain.
Technical representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), DENR, and Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA).
Section 6 of Republic Act No. 6957, as amended by RA No. 7718, known as the Build-Operate-and-Transfer (BOT) Law.
To assist the DPWH and LLDA in implementing the LLEDP, resolve issues arising from the implementation, and ensure all aspects comply with applicable laws including relocation, waste management, reclamation, environmental protection, property development, and construction.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is the Implementing Agency.
They are repealed or modified accordingly.
The DENR must reclassify the portions of land to be reclaimed as alienable and disposable land of the public domain in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and procedures.
The other provisions not affected shall remain valid and subsisting (separability clause).
