Executive Order No. 109 creates the Municipality of Maguing in the Province of Lanao del Sur.
The creation was pursuant to Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.
The Municipality of Maguing consists of the barrios Borua, Pindulonan, Alog, Butod, Dimaroa, Lumbac, Balagunun, Dimagalin, Bulao, Borokot, Dasaon, Romapunut, Dilausan, Madaya, Madanding, Malungun, Mimbisa, Pindulonan, Linindingan, Buadiangcay, Pagalongan, Pilimoknan, Maguing-Proper, Batobato, Bualan, Tandiongkairan, Rinabor, Minipagalanga, Balintao, Bubong, Dilimbayan, Panayangan, Macadiar, Polo, Elian, Kianodan, Runggayan, Ilalag, Camalag, Kilala, Cambong, Balawag, Minaring, Dalidigan, Bosicong, Pantao, and Agagan.
They were segregated from the municipality of Lumba-Bayabao in the Province of Lanao del Sur.
The seat of government is at the barrio of Dilausan.
The municipality of Lumba-Bayabao retains its present territory minus the barrios that now constitute Maguing.
It shall begin to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and a majority of the councilors; and upon certification by the Secretary of Finance that the new municipality is financially capable to provide statutory obligations and services, and that the mother municipality can still maintain its government and meet obligations after the segregation.
