Questions (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 682)

It is stated that it is issued pursuant to the powers vested in the President by law.

To create a national committee to take charge of the celebration of Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 1981.

On June 12, 1981.

The Minister of Education and Culture.

The Minister of the Budget.

Examples: the Deputy Minister of Public Works; Deputy Minister of Labor and Employment; Deputy Minister of National Defense; Deputy Minister of Local Government and Community Development; Deputy Minister of Tourism (and others are also listed).

The Presidential Protocol Officer.

The committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman.

The committee may create sub-committees as may be necessary.

It authorizes the committee to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency, or instrumentality of the government, including GOCCs, for assistance needed in discharging its duties and functions.

Its authority extends beyond ministries to any department, bureau, office, agency, or instrumentality, including government-owned or controlled corporations.
