Executive Order No. 209, dated November 26, 1965, is an order that created the municipality of Quirino in the province of Quezon.
The municipality of Quirino was created pursuant to the provisions of Section 63 of the Revised Administrative Code.
The municipality of Quirino consists of the barrios of Quirino, Dikeldit, Ditailen, Debucao, Suguit, and Dialatnan, all formerly part of the municipality of Maria Aurora, subprovince of Aurora.
The seat of government of the municipality of Quirino is located at the barrio of Quirino.
The boundaries of the municipality of Quirino are: North - Camili and Malupa rivers; South and Southeast - present municipal boundaries of San Luis and Maria Aurora; East - present municipal boundaries of Baler and Maria Aurora; West - provincial boundaries of Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quezon.
The municipality of Maria Aurora retains its present territory minus the portions which are included in the territory of the municipality of Quirino as delimited in the Executive Order.
The municipality of Quirino begins to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and a majority of the councilors thereof.
The President of the Philippines who signed Executive Order No. 209 was Diosdado Macapagal.
