Proclamation No. 1698 officially creates and designates the Eco Plaza building located at No. 2305 Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati City, as an Information Technology Center pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748.

The declaration is made pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916, known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748.

The President of the Philippines has the authority, upon recommendation of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority Board of Directors.

The location is identified as Lot 2-B-1-A, (LRC) Psd-62807 Rel-00-001279, on a parcel of private land at No. 2305 Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Makati City, containing approximately 5,000 square meters.
