It shall ensure that government policies, initiatives, and projects to attain zero hunger are coordinated, responsive, and effective, using a whole-of-government approach.
The Task Force must formulate an NFP outlining national priorities and a roadmap to achieve zero hunger, including initiatives for ending hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture, while taking into account existing laws, issuances, and international treaty obligations.
It must coordinate and rationalize the efforts of concerned agencies to ensure a whole-of-government approach to attaining zero hunger.
The Task Force must monitor and evaluate progress using the identification of key performance indicators.
