The creation and designation of the Alviera Industrial Park as a Special Economic Zone is pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916, known as the 'Special Economic Zone Act of 1995,' as amended by Republic Act No. 8748.
The President of the Philippines has the authority to create and designate Special Economic Zones, upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
The Special Economic Zone known as Alviera Industrial Park covers several parcels of land located along Barangay Dolores and Banaba, Municipality of Porac, Province of Pampanga, Island of Luzon.
The total aggregate area of the Alviera Industrial Park Special Economic Zone is approximately Three Hundred Eleven Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Four (311,954) square meters, more or less.
The technical description and boundaries are defined by the consolidation-subdivision plan Pcs-03-020635 and various Technical Certificates of Title (TCT), which were based on surveys conducted on June 28 to July 10, 1915, and the consolidation-subdivision survey on April 21-25, 2014, approved on January 16, 2015.
Board Resolution No. 15-001 (s. 2015) of the PEZA Board of Directors provides implementing rules, regulations, and configurations for the designation and management of the Special Economic Zone created by this Proclamation.
The lots include parcels designated as Lots 1 to 27, Road Lots 1 and 2, Reserved Areas (Lots 20 and 21), Utility Area (Lot 22), and Easement Lots (Lots 25, 26, and 27).
Boundaries are described using directions and distances with reference points, and all points are indicated on the survey plan and physically marked on the ground by Philippine Surveying (P.S.) cylindrical concrete monuments measuring 15x40 centimeters.
The Proclamation No. 1295 was signed and authorized by the President of the Philippines then, Benigno S. Aquino III, and attested by the Executive Secretary, Paquito N. Ochoa, Jr.
The creation and designation of the Special Economic Zone are subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Board Resolution No. 15-001 (s. 2015) of the PEZA Board of Directors.
