The creation and designation of the Ore Central Building as a Special Economic Zone is pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, also known as the "Special Economic Zone Act of 1995," and upon the recommendation of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Board of Directors.
The President of the Republic of the Philippines has the authority to proclaim a building and its parcels of land as a Special Economic Zone, based on recommendations from the PEZA Board of Directors.
The building is designated as the Ore Central Building, located at 9th Avenue corner 31st Street, Bonifacio Global City, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The Ore Central Building has a gross floor area of 32,086.63 square meters, situated on parcels of land with a total aggregate area of 2,906 square meters, more or less.
It is governed under Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, Republic Act No. 8748, and PEZA Resolutions No. 00-411 (s. 2000), 11-066 (s. 2011), 15-240 (s. 2015), 17-472 (s. 2017), and 16-243 (s. 2016).
The Ore Central Building is officially classified as a Special Economic Zone designated as an Information Technology Center.
The land parcels are described by their lot and block numbers covered by respective Transfer Certificates of Title (TCT). Boundaries are described with reference to adjacent lots, reserved access lots, road lots, and surveyed points with bearings and distances, with survey dates from 1907 and updated subdivision surveys in 2006 and 2008.
Points on the land parcels are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground by P.S. cylindrical concrete monuments measuring 15 x 40 centimeters.
