The creation and designation of the Panorama TechnoCenter as an Information Technology Center is pursuant to Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748.
The President of the Philippines has the authority to create and designate special economic zones, upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), pursuant to RA No. 7916 as amended.
The Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) recommended the designation.
The Panorama TechnoCenter has a gross floor area of Forty-Five Thousand One Hundred Sixty-Six Square Meters and Twenty-Two Square Decimeters (45,166.22 sqm).
It is located at 1029 EDSA, Veterans Village, Project 7, Quezon City.
The Panorama TechnoCenter stands on two parcels of land with an aggregate area of Three Thousand (3,000) square meters, more or less.
The parcels of land are certified under TCT No. N-175772 (Lot No. 2, Block B-3) and TCT No. N-175773 (Lot No. 3, Block B-3), both within Diliman Estate, Quezon City.
The designation is governed by Resolution No. 00-411 (s. 2000), as amended by Resolution No. 11-066 (s. 2011), Resolution No. 15-240 (s. 2015), and Resolution No. 15-309 (s. 2015).
The creation and operation are subject to the provisions of RA No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the relevant PEZA Board Resolutions cited in the proclamation.
President Benigno S. Aquino III signed the proclamation on February 10, 2016, with Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa, Jr. attesting.
