Questions (Republic Act No. 7915)

The main purpose of Executive Order No. 41 is to ensure proper, prompt enforcement and effective execution of the laws of the land through unified coordination and cooperation among all government law enforcement agencies at the national, regional, and provincial levels.

All existing Law Enforcement Coordinating Committees created pursuant to Executive Order No. 829 were continued and maintained as venues for law enforcement coordination at the national, regional, and provincial levels.

The Director General of the Philippine National Police (PNP) is the chairman of the national Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee.

Key members include the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation, Executive Director of the Dangerous Drug Board, Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, Chief of Operations Control of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, and the Commissioner of the Bureau of Customs, among others.

It is composed of the PNP Regional Director as Chairman, the heads or administrators of regional or field offices of government agencies mentioned in Section 2, and the regional Peace and Order Coordinator.

The PNP Provincial Director chairs the Provincial Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee.

Each Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee at all levels shall maintain a coordinating center to coordinate the day-to-day law enforcement activities of member agencies. The Office of the Secretariat, NALECC (National Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee), serves as the National Coordinating Center.

Each Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee at all levels must meet at least once a month to discuss, monitor, and assess government law enforcement programs.

All incompatible or inconsistent orders, issuances, rules, and regulations, or parts thereof, are revoked or modified accordingly to align with EO No. 41.
