Republic Act No. 10125 converts the Lala National High School-Lourdes Annex into an independent national high school called Lourdes National High School, transferring all personnel, assets, liabilities, and records, with funding and operationalization responsibilities falling under the Secretary of Education.

The main purpose of Republic Act No. 10125 is to separate the Lala National High School - Lourdes Annex in Barangay Lourdes, City of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur from Lala National High School and convert it into an independent national high school known as Lourdes National High School.

The Lala National High School - Lourdes Annex located in Barangay Lourdes, City of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur was separated and converted into Lourdes National High School.

All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Lala National High School - Lourdes Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the newly created Lourdes National High School.

The Secretary of Education is responsible for immediately including Lourdes National High School in the Department's program and providing its initial funding.

The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of Lala National High School - Lourdes Annex.

The amount necessary for continued operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to implement the purposes of this Act.

This Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

The new school shall be known as Lourdes National High School.

The transfer of assets and liabilities is addressed under Section 2 of Republic Act No. 10125.
