Republic Act No. 11846 separates the Dulop National High School a Labangon Annex in Barangay Labangon, Municipality of Dumingag, Province of Zamboanga del Sur from the Dulop National High School and converts it into an independent national high school to be known as the Labangon Subanen Agricultural National High School.
It creates the Labangon Subanen Agricultural National High School as an independent national high school.
All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Dulop National High School a Labangon Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Labangon Subanen Agricultural National High School.
The Secretary of Education is tasked to immediately include the operationalization of the Labangon Subanen Agricultural National High School in the Department's program.
The initial funding shall be charged against the current year’s appropriation of the Dulop National High School a Labangon Annex.
The funds will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The Secretary of Education shall promulgate the rules and regulations within sixty (60) days after the approval of this Act.
The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
According to Article Section 27(1) of the Philippine Constitution, if the President does not sign a bill within thirty days after receipt, it becomes law as if he had signed it; this law lapsed into law on June 18, 2022, without the President's signature.
The law was signed by Vicente C. Sotto III, President of the Senate, and Lord Alan Jay Q. Velasco, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
