The law is Batas Pambansa Blg. 410, titled “An Act Converting the Hinigaran High School in the Municipality of Hinigaran, Province of Negros Occidental, into a National High School to be known as the Hinigaran National High School.”
The Hinigaran High School in the Municipality of Hinigaran, Province of Negros Occidental is converted into a national high school.
It becomes known as the Hinigaran National High School.
The curriculum must include both academic and vocational courses.
The amount of one hundred thousand pesos (₱100,000) is provided for the operation of the school.
It is funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools.
An additional amount corresponding to fifty percent (50%) of the school’s share in the budgetary aid actually paid to it before such conversion.
It is released for its operation from the national assistance fund to local schools.
Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
The local Hinigaran High School is legally reclassified into a national high school with the specified name and curricular requirement.
Both academic courses and vocational courses must be included in the curriculum.
