: The main purpose of Batas Pambansa Blg. 254 is to convert the Banate Municipal High School in the Municipality of Banate, Province of Iloilo, into a national high school to be known as the Banate National High School.
: The Banate Municipal High School is renamed as the Banate National High School after the conversion.

: An amount of one hundred thousand pesos was allocated for the operation of the school.
: The initial fund is sourced from the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools.

: Thereafter, the necessary funds for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
