Questions (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 175)

The purpose of Executive Order No. 175 is to create the municipalities of Pandami and Laminusa in the province of Sulu, carving them out from the municipality of Siasi.

The municipality of Pandami consists of the sitios and islands of Hambilan, Lapak, Malanta, Manubul, Pandami (Parian Dakula), Sibaud, Tapaan Island, Manincolat Island, Bubuan Island, Manibul Island, and Sirum Island.

The municipality of Laminusa consists of the sitios and islands of Bulikulul, Kalang, Laminusa, Punungan, Silumpak, Tara, Sumbasumba Island, and Parangan Paturan Island.

The seat of government of the municipality of Pandami is at the sitio of Pandami (Parian Dakula), while that of the municipality of Laminusa is at the sitio of Laminusa.

The municipality of Siasi will retain its present territory minus the portions included in the new municipalities of Pandami and Laminusa.

The creation of Pandami and Laminusa was proposed in House Bills Nos. 9004 and 9005, which were approved by the House of Representatives.

They begin to exist upon the appointment and qualification of their respective Mayors, Vice-Mayors, and a majority of their councilors.

The President was Diosdado Macapagal.
