Fidel V. Ramos reconstitutes the Disposal Committees to expedite the disposal of unserviceable government equipment and property, following the withdrawal of the Commission on Audit from membership.

Questions (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 309)

To reconstitute the government disposal committees created under Executive Order No. 285 so that disposal of unserviceable, obsolete and/or excess government equipment and property can be expedited.

Executive Order No. 285 (issued July 25, 1987).

They were composed of (1) a representative of the owning agency as Chairman, (2) representatives of the Commission on Audit (COA) as members, and (3) representatives of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) as members.

They were composed of (1) a representative of the regional owning agency as Chairman, (2) representatives of the COA Regional Office as members, and (3) representatives of the DBM Regional Office as members.

Because COA withdrew from being a member due to the lifting of all pre-audit activities as mandated by Section 2(2), Article IX-D of the Constitution.
