The official name is the Veterans Federation of the Philippines, abbreviated as VFP.
The principal office of the Federation is located in the City of Manila, Philippines.
A veteran is any person who served in the naval, air, or land arms or service of the Philippines during the Philippine revolution, World Wars I or II, the United States Army Forces in the Far East in World War II, the Philippine Expeditionary Force to Korea in the Korean Campaign, any future armed conflict involving the Philippines, or retirees of the Armed Forces of the Philippines with at least ten years of service; and must have been honorably discharged or are still in service or on inactive reserve.
