RA 11766 provides that licenses to possess firearms are renewed every five (5) years or ten (10) years at the option of the licensee.

Failure to renew on or before the expiration causes revocation of the license and the registration of the firearm(s) under that licensee.
Yes. Registration is renewed separately and likewise every five (5) years or ten (10) years at the option of the licensee, reckoned from the birthdate of the licensee.
Failure to renew registration on or before expiration causes revocation of the license of the firearm, and the firearm shall be confiscated or forfeited in favor of the government after due process.
It causes the perpetual disqualification of the holder of the firearm from applying for any firearm license.
The renewal application may be submitted to the FEO of the PNP within six (6) months before the date of expiration of the license or registration.
RA 11766 takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
