Questions (EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 368)

EO No. 368 amends Executive Order No. 356 dated August 12, 1996.

The Social Reform Council is a body established under EO No. 356 to implement guidelines on institutional arrangements to fasttrack Social Reform Agenda (SRA) localization and expanded membership to include various agencies and organizations.

It was included to mainstream gender concerns in all SRA flagship programs and to monitor the Philippine government's commitments related to the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women's Beijing Platform of Action.

He exercised the powers vested in him by law as the President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The Social Reform Council monitors the implementation of the Philippine government's commitments made in the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women, specifically the Beijing Platform of Action.

Executive Order No. 208 dated October 10, 1994, and Executive Order No. 268 dated August 4, 1995, strengthened and reconstituted the National Commission on the Role of the Filipino Women.

It serves as the primary policy-making and coordinating body of all women development programs and institutions.

Executive Order No. 368 took effect immediately upon its signing on September 5, 1996.
