Republic Act No. 9375

: The main purpose is to create two branches of the Regional Trial Court and an additional branch of the Municipal Trial Court in cities for the Province of Cebu to be stationed at the City of Talisay, amending certain provisions of the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980.
: It pertains to the Seventh Judicial Region.
: Sixty-six Regional Trial Judges are commissioned for the Seventh Judicial Region.
: Thirty-seven branches with seats at various locations including Cebu City, Danao City, Talisay City, among others.
: It provides for two branches of the Municipal Trial Courts in Talisay City instead of the usual one branch in cities that do not form part of a metropolitan area.
: The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice.
: The funding will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
: Cebu City, Danao City, Talisay City, Argao, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, Toledo City, Barili, Bogo, and Oslob.
: The Act took effect upon its approval on March 6, 2007.
: Section 14, paragraph (h) and Section 29 were amended by RA 9375.
