Republic Act No. 9375 is an act creating two branches of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) and an additional branch of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) for the Province of Cebu, to be stationed at Talisay City, amending specific provisions of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 and appropriating funds for the purpose.
RA 9375 amended (1) Section 14, paragraph (h) on RTCs, and (2) Section 29 on Municipal Trial Courts in cities.
RA 9375 states that sixty-six Regional Trial Judges shall be commissioned for the Seventh Judicial Region and specifies there will be thirty-seven RTC branches with seats for specified areas in Cebu.
It provides that there shall be thirty-seven branches with seats for the Province of Cebu and the Cities of Cebu, Danao, Talisay, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, and Toledo, with seats at specified cities and municipalities including Talisay City.

Talisay City is provided with two branches of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities.
They must coordinate to immediately include in the court’s program the operationalization of two additional RTC branches and an additional MTCC branch in Cebu to be stationed at Talisay City.
The funding for the operationalization of the additional court branches must be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
