It is an amendment to Subsection 'C' of Section 114 of the Land Registration Act, which deals with the fees payable to the Register of Deeds for services rendered under the Act.
The Register of Deeds is authorized to collect fees for all services rendered under the Land Registration Act according to the prescribed schedule.
The fee is eight pesos for the first parcel of land described on the certificate of title, and one peso for each additional parcel.
The fees shall be one peso for every one hundred pesos, or fractional part thereof, irrespective of the number of lots.
Three pesos for the first parcel of land affected and two pesos for each additional parcel. If the total assessed value exceeds six thousand pesos, an additional fee equivalent to 10% of fees under paragraph sixteen is collected.
Seven pesos for registration and filing, and one peso and fifty centavos for the annotation on each certificate of title when required.
Fees are based on the value of the consideration according to a graduated schedule ranging from three pesos and fifty centavos for the first 500 pesos up to fifteen pesos for each additional twenty thousand pesos above five hundred thousand pesos.
Twenty centavos for each hundred words or fraction thereof contained in the copies furnished.
Two pesos for each parcel of land affected.
Fees are apportioned and computed based on the current assessed value of the properties lying within the jurisdiction of each registry of deeds.
