The main purpose of Executive Order No. 293-A is to amend Executive Order No. 293 by excluding Channels 9 and 13 from its scope and coverage and to place these channels under the direct control and supervision of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG).

The Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) retains direct control and supervision over Channels 9 and 13.

SADA was created to formulate and implement a program for the disposition of assets transferred to it by the PCGG, as established by Executive Order No. 286.

It amends Executive Order No. 293 by excluding Channels 9 and 13 from its scope and coverage.

Executive Order No. 149 transferred the Sequestered Assets Disposition Authority (SADA) to the PCGG.

Executive Order No. 293-A takes effect immediately upon its approval.
