PROCLAMATION NO. 140

: The Brooke's Point Agro-Industrial Economic Zone was created pursuant to the powers vested under Republic Act No. 7916, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748.
: The proclamation was signed by Rodrigo Roa Duterte, President of the Philippines, with Salvador C. Medialdea as Executive Secretary.
: The establishment is governed by the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 (RA No. 7916), as amended by RA No. 8748, and relevant implementing rules and regulations.

: It is governed under Resolution No. 07-232 (s. 2007), Resolution No. 15-178 (s. 2015), and Resolution No. 16-193 (s. 2016) of the PEZA Board of Directors.
: The original survey was done on 09 April 1940 and was reaffirmed or re-executed by Geodetic Engineer Lawrence L. Espinol on 07 October 2015, establishing the precise technical description and boundaries of the land.
: Republic Act No. 7916 is commonly known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995.
