On June 28, 2013, the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 172, Valenzuela City convicted Delos Santos of violating Section 10(a), Article VI of R.A. No. 7610, sentencing him to an indeterminate term (minimum four years, two months and one day of prision correccional to a maximum of prision mayor) and awarding P10,000 moral damages.
