Role of the Office of the President - Gender and Development Focal Point System (OP-GFPS)
- OP-GFPS is responsible for determining the appropriate venue and organizing the Gender Sensitivity Training Program.
- The OP-GFPS will coordinate the implementation of all GAD-related activities for OP Proper human resources.
Coordination and Scheduling
- The OP-GFPS must work closely with the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration (ODESFA) to strategically schedule participant involvement.
- Scheduling aims to ensure that participation in training programs and related activities does not disrupt service delivery or routine operations of the OP Proper.
Implementation Procedures and Financial Responsibility
- Specific implementation procedures and the costs for each program or activity will be prepared and approved separately.
- Approval authority is vested in the Executive Secretary or the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration (DESFA), as formalized through Project/Activity Designs or Special Orders.
Effectivity
- The Memorandum Order takes effect immediately upon issuance on September 7, 2022.
Legal and Administrative Authority
- The Executive Secretary issues the order under the President's authority, emphasizing the high-level endorsement of the gender sensitivity initiatives within the OP Proper.
