Creation of Jasaan municipality
- The barrios of Jasaan, Danao, Kamatayan or San Antonio, Bubuntugan, Solana, and Aplaya of the municipality of Balingasag, Oriental Misamis are organized into an independent municipality.
- The independent municipality created is named Jasaan.
- The seat of government is at the barrio of Jasaan.
Legal basis for independence
- Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code authorizes the organization of the specified barrios into an independent municipality.
- The order expressly implements this authority to create the municipality of Jasaan as an independent local government unit.
Geographic boundaries and demarcation
- The municipality of Jasaan begins at a point at Punta Gorda marked by an old Spanish monument made of adobe blocks measuring 1 m. x 1 m. x 2 m.
- The boundary runs due east until it intersects a point at the center of Cabulig River, 90 meters wide, 11.8 kms. away.
- The boundary then follows along the center of Cabulig River, running toward the sea in a southwestward direction up to a point in the center of Cabulig River that is an old boundary corner of the municipalities of Balingasag and Claveria, with an approximate distance of 6.75 kms.
- The boundary then runs due south for 4,300 kms., described as an old boundary corner between the municipalities of Balingasag and Claveria.
- The boundary then runs S. 41A 15' E. for 4.000 kms., described as an old boundary corner of Balingasag and Claveria.
- The boundary then runs S. 9A 45' E. for 1.450 kms., described as an old boundary corner of the municipalities of Claveria, Balingasag, and Tagoloan.
- The boundary then runs due West until it intersects a point on the shoreline located at the mouth and center of Caponoyan Creek, 10 meters wide, 6.58 kms. away, described as an old boundary corner of Balingasag and Tagoloan.
- The boundary then follows the boundary of the marine waters which the municipality of Jasaan shall have pursuant to Section 2331 of the Revised Administrative Code, and continues to the point at Punta Gorda, the point of beginning.

Territory retained by Balingasag
- The municipality of Balingasag retains its present territory minus the territory comprised in the municipality of Jasaan.
Effective date
- The organization of the municipality of Jasaan takes effect on September 1, 1948.
