Covered road network conversion
- Section 1 converts the road network connecting Barangay Grijalvo in the Municipality of San Fernando and the Municipality of Bula, Province of Camarines Sur into a national road.
- The conversion operates as a change in the road’s classification from the covered road network into the national road system (Section 1).
DPWH program inclusion and funding
- Section 2 requires the Secretary of Public Works and Highways to include in the Department’s program the improvement, repair, and maintenance of the converted road network.
- Section 2 mandates that the funding of the improvement, repair, and maintenance of the road shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Technical description of the road
- Section 3 establishes a technical description of the road using numbered lines with specified bearings and distances (meters).
- The technical description is set out through Lines 1-2 through 173-1, each with its corresponding bearing direction (e.g., S/N with degrees and E/W) and distance (meters) (see Section 3).
- Section 3 fixes the road limits by the sequential connectivity of the listed bearing-distance points, culminating at Line 173-1 (Section 3).
Implementation timeline
- Republic Act No. 11486 becomes effective 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation (Section 4).
