Separation and conversion order
- Section 1 separates the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School—Lurisa Annex in Barangay Samay, City of Gingoog, Province of Misamis Oriental from the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School.
- Section 1 converts the separated annex into an independent national high school.
- Section 1 establishes the school’s name as Lurisa National High School.
Transfer of assets, liabilities, and records
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by Lurisa National High School all personnel of the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School—Lurisa Annex.
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by Lurisa National High School all assets of the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School—Lurisa Annex.
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by Lurisa National High School all liabilities of the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School—Lurisa Annex.
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by Lurisa National High School all records of the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School—Lurisa Annex.
Funding and appropriations rules
- Section 3 directs the Secretary of Education to immediately include the operationalization of Lurisa National High School in the Department’s program.
- Section 3 requires that the initial funding of Lurisa National High School be charged against the current year’s appropriations of the Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School—Lurisa Annex.
- Section 3 requires that thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation authority and rulemaking
- Section 4 empowers the Secretary of Education to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of Republic Act No. 10428.
